Welcome to Possession, a Yandere DKBK Zine.
This fixed DKBK zine is open to any artist and writer 18 and older and will be a free, digital zine released for everyone 18+ to enjoy. There will also be the option for supporters to "buy" the zine in order to raise money for a chosen charity by contributors.

What is a zine/fanzine?
A zine is a fanmade booklet/magazine that is a collection of art and/or writing revolving around a particular subject or theme. Possession in particular is a digital zine, meaning all artwork will be collected into a PDF that will be available for anyone 18+ to download.What is this zine about?
Possession is a fixed DKBK zine focused on one or both of them being a Yandere.What's a Yandere?
Yandere is a term used to describe a character who becomes dangerously possessive of a love interest. The term is a combination of the Japanese words yanderu, which means "to be sick", and deredere, which means "lovestruck." They are usually clingy, impulsive, delusional, sadistic, and manipulative to the person they love or to others who may get between them and the person they love.Do the mods have any experience running zines?
Yes! You can learn more about the mods of this zine here.Do I have to apply to be in the zine/Do I need to have a portfolio to be in the zine?
Nope! This zine is open to everyone 18 and older and no prior zine experience is necessary. All you have to do is fill out the sign-up form and indicate what kind of piece you'd like to create!Is AI/generated AI content allowed?
Ew, absolutely not. If we find out that you're using AI at any time, you will be immediately removed from the zine and banned from the mods' future projects.

Does this zine allow BakuDeku or BakuDekuBaku dynamics?
No, this zine is a fixed DekuBaku zine only. We allow creators of any kind, though, to join as long as their zine piece is DKBK only!Is NSFW allowed?
Yes, both NSFW and SFW pieces are allowed for the zine and will all be compiled into one PDF document. All content will be tagged appropriately.Are there any topics not allowed?
- No other BNHA or OC ships are allowed
- DKBK must be middle school aged or higher
- Bestiality is not allowed
- Racism is not tolerated whatsoeverDo I need to create original work for the zine or can I submit pieces I've already created and/or posted publicly?
Yes, all pieces must be made for the zine itself and not previously posted.
Contributor Information
How many contributors will this zine have?
However many sign up! :)What kind of pieces are page artists making?
Page artists will be making one piece that will cover an entire page of the zine. Some artists may sign up to create a spread or comic as well.What's the word count range for writers?
Writers will need to create a fic that is at least 500 words and no longer than 5,000 words.Once the zine is completed, do I retain the rights to my work?
Yes, absolutely! We do ask that while the zine is still actively going (starting from creation period to release) that you do not share, post, or sell your work until the mods have given you the go ahead to do so! But you will retain all rights to your work upon the zine's completion and the zine will not retain its rights to distribute your work.How will contributors and mods communicate/keep in contact?
Our main mode of contact is through Discord and email! We do require that you have a Discord account so that you can join our zine's server; we will frequently make announcements and updates there. We will, however, also send out emails for the more important announcements. Also, any important or sensitive information (such as emails and addresses) will remain completely confidential from other contributors; only the mod team will be able to view this information.Are minors allowed to participate?
No, all contributors must be at least 18 years old. If we find out at any point that a contributor is lying about their age, they will be immediately removed from the zine and banned from mods' future projects.Am I allowed to drop out if something happens where I can no longer contribute to the zine?
Yes, you may drop out of the zine at any time if needed. We just ask that you inform us ASAP so that we know what's going on. :) Ghosting sucks!
